Once a year, the IZfG organises the Gender in Focus research colloquium to strengthen the network of gender studies projects at the University of Greifswald.

The colloquium provides an opportunity to present and discuss current work and planned research projects that incorporate aspects of gender studies.

Gender in Focus is a university-wide, interdisciplinary forum aimed at raising the visibility and impact of gender studies projects and fostering collaboration.

The colloquium is open to anyone engaged in gender research methods as part of their research or study projects. This of course includes topics and issues from queer or trans studies.

Researchers from all member groups and qualification phases at the University of Greifswald are invited to participate, as well as students who wish to present the results or drafts of their dissertations.

New ideas, planned projects, interim results, or completed work can all be presented.
