Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts two-subject degree courses can take IZfG classes as part of the core module "Gender Studies" (optional studies from Winter Semester 2019/20).
The core module "Gender Studies I" is only offered in the winter semester; the introductory course is compulsory, while the second seminar is elective.
The advanced module "Gender Studies II" takes place in the summer semester; students must attend the lecture series with a tutorial and an additional seminar.
It is generally possible to take these classes in a manner that differs from the information set out above, but this must be agreed upon with the respective lecturers in advance.

- Female Writing
- Eyewitnessing. War photography in the 19th and 20th centuries
- "Alle Räder stehen still!" A brief history of the labour movement in the 19th and 20th centuries
- Representations of heroines in Scandinavian literature (20th / 21st century)
- Art and care
The introductory course (Introduction to Gender Studies) is compulsory, while the second seminar is elective.
