Why should activists and policy practitioners be concerned with epistemologies - the underpinning assumptions guiding our decisions? Where does the power of epistemologies come from? How does coloniality matter in queer feminist theorizing and its practical implications today? Drawing on the examples of my projects from/about Ukraine, we will reflect together on how the contemporary colonial power shapes knowledge and subjectivities.
